Ayzeo Is Now in the ChatGPT Plugin Directory
You can now add Ayzeo to ChatGPT straight from ChatGPT's plugin directory. No server URL to copy, no developer mode to switch on: open the listing, click Install plugin, sign in with your Ayzeo account, and ask ChatGPT about your AI visibility.

Short answer: Ayzeo is listed in ChatGPT's plugin directory as Ayzeo, with the tagline "Track your brand in AI search". To connect it, open the Ayzeo plugin, click Install plugin, sign in with your Ayzeo account and approve access. ChatGPT can then read your AI visibility scores, citation history, brand mentions, cited sources and Search Console and Google Analytics data, run a fresh visibility check and create a content page (editor role or above), for every Ayzeo project you can access. The projects available are those whose owner has an active Pro or Enterprise plan, trials included.
1. What's New
Until now, connecting Ayzeo to ChatGPT meant switching on developer mode, creating a custom app, pasting our server address and choosing the sign-in method. It worked, but it was a setup for people who are comfortable in settings menus, and some never got past it.
That setup is gone. Ayzeo passed OpenAI's review and is now a listed plugin in ChatGPT's plugin directory, in the Data & Analytics category. Installing it takes one click and one sign-in, the same as any other plugin in the directory.
Nothing changes about what Ayzeo does inside ChatGPT. It is the same Ayzeo connection with the same tools, the same sign-in with your Ayzeo account and the same access rules. Only the way in got shorter.
2. Install Ayzeo in ChatGPT in Three Steps
- Open the listing. Use the button below, or search for "Ayzeo" in ChatGPT's plugin directory.
- Click Install plugin.
- Sign in and approve. ChatGPT opens an Ayzeo page. Sign in with your normal Ayzeo account, review what ChatGPT asks for and click Authorize. You do this once.
Then start with the question that works for everyone: "List my Ayzeo projects." ChatGPT returns every project you can access, with your role and a link to its dashboard. From there, name the project a question is about.
In a ChatGPT Enterprise or Edu workspace, an admin may need to enable the Ayzeo plugin before members can install it.
3. What You Can Ask
The listing suggests three questions to start with, and they are good ones:
- "Which of my Ayzeo projects has the weakest AI search presence?"
- "For my Ayzeo project, what content page should I create next?"
- "Show my top search opportunities and flag ones without a page yet."
Behind them, ChatGPT can work with a project's Ayzeo data:
- AI visibility: visibility, citation and mention rates, how often each AI assistant names your brand, and the prompts where competitors are named instead.
- Sources: the sites AI answers draw on for your prompts, and the links to your own site that lead nowhere.
- Search queries: the searches the AI models ran while answering your prompts.
- Search Console and Google Analytics: query opportunities ranked by the Ayzeo Content Opportunity Score, and the visits that AI assistants send to your site, once those integrations are connected.
- Your website: the latest AI readiness analysis, and a fresh one on request.
- Actions: run a visibility check or a single prompt now, and create an AI-optimized content page for a query.
Reading data works for every role on a project. Running checks and creating content needs the editor role or above, and those calls count against daily limits. For a ready-made analysis, paste the prompt from Get an Actionable AI-Visibility Analysis in 60 Seconds into ChatGPT: it reads your numbers and returns a 30-day action plan.
4. Who Can Use It
Anyone with an Ayzeo account can install the plugin and sign in. The projects ChatGPT can work on are the ones whose owning organization has an active Pro or Enterprise plan; trials count. Team members are covered by the owner's plan: the owner pays, the team works. One sign-in covers every project you are a member of, so an agency connects once for all of its clients.
If none of your projects belongs to an organization on Pro, Enterprise or a trial, the sign-in still works, but the project list comes back empty with a note that explains why. After an upgrade the projects appear right away; to run checks or create content, disconnect and reconnect Ayzeo once.
5. Connected Through Developer Mode Before?
If you set up Ayzeo as a custom app in developer mode, Ayzeo still accepts that connection, but we recommend switching to the listed plugin: it is the easier way, and the one we document from now on. To switch, install the Ayzeo plugin from the directory, sign in once, and remove your old custom app in ChatGPT's settings. Your Ayzeo projects and data stay exactly as they are, because both connect to the same Ayzeo account.
6. Claude and Other AI Clients
The same connection works outside ChatGPT. In claude.ai and Claude Desktop, one click opens Claude's custom connector dialog with Ayzeo already filled in; a listing in Claude's connector directory is in preparation.
In Claude Code, one command adds it: claude mcp add --transport http --scope user ayzeo https://ayzeo.com/mcp/v2. Step-by-step instructions for every client are in the setup guide.
7. Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: Is Ayzeo available in ChatGPT?
- A: Yes. Since October 2026, Ayzeo is listed in ChatGPT's plugin directory as Ayzeo, with the tagline "Track your brand in AI search". Open the listing, click Install plugin, sign in with your Ayzeo account and approve access.
- Q: Do I still need ChatGPT developer mode to connect Ayzeo?
- A: No. Developer mode was only needed while Ayzeo was not yet listed. Ayzeo still accepts a connection you set up in developer mode, but we recommend switching to the plugin from the directory.
- Q: Which Ayzeo plan do I need?
- A: Anyone with an Ayzeo account can install the plugin and sign in. The projects ChatGPT can work on are those whose owning organization has an active Pro or Enterprise plan, trials included. Team members are covered by the owner's plan.
- Q: What can ChatGPT do with Ayzeo?
- A: Read your AI visibility scores, citation history, brand mentions, the sources AI answers cite, the searches the models ran and your website's AI readiness; use connected Search Console and Google Analytics data to find content opportunities; run a fresh visibility check; and create an AI-optimized content page. Reading works for every project role; running checks and creating content needs the editor role or above.
- Q: Can I use Ayzeo in ChatGPT for several projects or clients?
- A: Yes. One sign-in covers every Ayzeo project you are a member of. Ask ChatGPT to list your Ayzeo projects, then name the project each question is about. Cross-project questions, such as which project has the weakest AI search presence, work in a single conversation.
- Q: How do I disconnect Ayzeo from ChatGPT?
- A: Disconnect it in your ChatGPT settings. Each AI client you connect holds its own access, so disconnecting ChatGPT does not affect Claude or any other client.
