Ayzeo vs Yoast, Rank Math and AIOSEO: Which Covers GEO on WordPress?

Credit where due: the big three WordPress SEO plugins all moved on AI search in 2025 and 2026, and faster than most of the SEO industry. Yoast shipped free llms.txt generation for everyone and launched AI Brand Insights in October 2025. Rank Math put llms.txt and IndexNow in its free plugin and launched AI Visibility in mid 2026. AIOSEO turned llms.txt on by default, added a Block AI Crawlers control, and opened its AI Suite beta. If you run one of these plugins, your site's baseline AI hygiene is better than it was a year ago without you doing anything.

The structural difference is what the product is. For all three, AI visibility is an add-on to a plugin whose job is classic SEO, and the add-on inherits that shape: small question sets, weekly or on-demand cadence, one to five engines, and in Yoast's case a tracker that does not live in WordPress at all. None of the three covers Google AI Overviews, the AI answers embedded in Google Search itself. That gap matters: AI Overviews appear inside Google Search itself, in front of search traffic no chat app matches. Ayzeo tracks ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews at entry and extends to Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek with add-ons.
