5. How to Connect Your GA4 Property

Connecting takes less than 2 minutes:

    Go to Project Settings

    Navigate to your project and click Settings in the sidebar. Find "Google Analytics" (marked with a Pro badge).

    Click "Connect Google Analytics"

    You'll be redirected to Google's OAuth consent screen. Sign in with the account that has access to your GA4 property.

    Grant Read-Only Access

    Ayzeo only requests read access. We never modify your GA settings or access personal user data.

    Select Your GA4 Property

    Choose the property that corresponds to your project's website from the list.

    Wait for Initial Sync

    We automatically import 90 days of historical data. This takes a few minutes — you'll see a "Syncing" indicator until complete.

After the initial sync, data updates daily. You can trigger a manual refresh anytime from the settings page.

Note: You need Owner, Admin, or Editor access to your Ayzeo project to connect Google Analytics. Viewers can see the analytics but cannot set up the integration.

    Ayzeo only reads aggregated traffic data. We cannot modify your GA settings or access personal user information.

    OAuth tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage.

  • Aggregated Data Only

    We only store daily aggregated snapshots (sessions, users, bounce rate). No individual user data is ever stored.

  • Easy Disconnection

    Disconnect anytime from Project Settings. This revokes access and deletes stored tokens.

A: Google Analytics Integration is a Pro and Enterprise feature. Upgrade to Pro to unlock it.
Q: Does it work with Universal Analytics?
A: No, only GA4 properties are supported. Universal Analytics was sunset by Google in 2024.
Q: How often is data synced?
A: After the initial 90-day backfill, data syncs daily. You can also trigger a manual refresh.
Q: What if I see very low AI traffic?
