Prospect Scanner: A Branded AI Visibility Check for Sales Calls

Run a quick AI visibility check on a prospect's website live on a sales call, under your own logo: AI readiness score, the live answer of ChatGPT or another assistant, and the brands it recommends. Part of the White-Label Dashboard add-on and Enterprise.

Key Takeaways

  • The Prospect Scanner is a quick AI visibility check you run live on a sales call: enter a prospect's website, pick the market and the AI assistant, and show the result while you share your screen.
  • The page carries your logo and accent color only. It shows no Ayzeo logo, link or footer.
  • The result is a snapshot: one question, one answer, one assistant, one market, one moment. It opens the conversation; it does not replace tracking.
  • It is part of the White-Label Dashboard add-on and of the Enterprise plan, with 20 checks per organization per day.

Open the Scanner

  1. In the dashboard sidebar, find Sales and click Prospect Scanner. It opens in a new browser tab with nothing but the scanner on it.
  2. The question mark next to it brings you back to this article.

The scanner belongs to the organization of the project selected in your sidebar. Its owner and admins can use it; viewers do not see it, because viewers are often your clients. It needs a login: there is no API or MCP access to it.

Run a Check

  1. Enter the prospect's website. A bare domain such as example.com is enough.
  2. Pick the market, the country whose customers you want to look at. The scanner preselects the market of your organization's latest check.
  3. Pick the AI assistant. ChatGPT is preselected; the list shows the assistants your plan includes.
  4. Click Run the check. The technical part takes about a minute, and the AI answer usually follows within one or two more.

What the Result Shows

  • Step 1, AI readiness: a score out of 100 for how well AI systems can find, read and trust the page, the biggest gaps in plain language, and the checks it passed.
  • Step 2, the AI answer: the question the AI assistant was asked, whether the prospect's brand is mentioned in the answer, the brands it recommends instead, and the full answer to read together.

The question is written from the prospect's own website, about their industry, in the language of the website. That is what makes the answer land: it is the kind of question their customers ask.

Why It Is Only a Snapshot

The result page says it in one short line: one answer, to one question, asked on one day, for one market. Here is what that means and how to talk about it with the prospect.

  • One question. Customers ask AI assistants in many ways. A brand can be missing from this answer and named in another, or the other way round.
  • One answer. AI assistants do not give the same answer twice. Ask the same question again and the list of brands can change.
  • One assistant, one market. ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude answer differently, and so do the same assistants in different countries.
  • One moment. Answers move from week to week as the assistants and the web change.

That is the opening for the conversation: a single answer shows that there is something to look at, and tracking many questions across assistants over time shows where the brand really stands and whether the work moves it. That is the service you offer next.

Tips for the Call

  • Share the tab, not the whole window. When you share a single browser tab, the prospect sees the page only, without your address bar, bookmarks or other tabs.
  • Set your branding first. The scanner uses the logo and accent color from your organization settings, under Branding. Without a logo it shows your organization name.
  • Recent checks stay closed. Your organization's checks of the last 30 days are listed under the form, collapsed, so other prospects' names never appear on a shared screen unless you open the list.
  • Run the check before the call if you want to be sure of what you show. Open it again from the recent checks list when the call starts.

Limits and Data

  • Each organization can run 20 checks per day. The count resets at midnight UTC, and a check that fails, for example because the website could not be reached, does not count.
  • The recent checks list shows the last 30 days, with who ran each check.
  • The scanner stores the website address, the market, the assistant, the result and who in your organization ran it. It never asks for or stores the prospect's name or contact details.
  • Checks do not use your projects' prompt limits or daily queries.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will the prospect see that the scanner comes from Ayzeo?

A: Not on the page: it shows your logo and accent color, and no Ayzeo logo, footer, link or icon. The browser address bar still shows the address of the page, which is why sharing a single tab is the better choice on a call.

Q: Does the prospect's website notice the check?

A: Only in its server logs: the check loads the home page like a browser and requests robots.txt and llms.txt as AyzeoBot, our crawler. The AI assistant may also visit the site under its own crawler's name while it answers. Nothing appears on the website itself.

Q: Why is my brand mentioned in one check and not in the next?

A: Because each check is one fresh answer. AI assistants vary their answers, so a single check is a snapshot, not a measurement. Tracking many prompts over time is what gives a reliable picture.

Q: Can I run a check for a market other than my own?

A: Yes. Pick any market from the list and the answer is collected for that country. Grok is the exception: it takes no country, so its answer is not tied to the market you pick.

Q: Which AI assistants can I choose?

A: ChatGPT on every plan, plus the assistants your plan or add-ons include, such as Gemini, Perplexity or Claude.

Q: Why can I not see Prospect Scanner in my sidebar?

A: It appears for owners and admins of an organization with the White-Label Dashboard add-on or the Enterprise plan, while a project of that organization is selected.

Q: Can I send the result to the prospect?

A: No. The result page opens only for the owner and admins of your organization, logged in. Share what you showed on the call in your own follow-up.
